How to Build a Client Project Progress Portal
Give each client a clear view of their project without sharing your whole workspace.
Clients ask the same question every week: how far along is my project? Instead of sending screenshots of a spreadsheet, keep projects and tasks in Ambisius and share a focused view.
What you'll build
A Projects table linked to Clients and Tasks, with a progress percentage that updates itself.
- Create three tables: Clients, Projects and Tasks.
- Link each Project to one Client, and each Task to one Project.
- On Projects, add a Rollup that counts completed Tasks, then a rule: "completed tasks divided by all tasks".
- Create a view of Projects filtered by client, and share it with that client's contact.
